Meet beautiful Davos!
He is a Podenco mix, roughly 7 years old and weighs approximately 25kg. He was handed in at his first shelter when he was almost a year old. At that time no one knew anything about him. He was then put into foster care for over a year. Still not adopted, he was put into a boarding facility, where he has now stayed for over four years! At the boarding facility, he has been living in a pack and getting along well with the other dogs. He appears to be fine with cats, but, as we know, that doesn’t guarantee that every cat would get on with him or vice versa. With people, he's been described as “charming and affectionate”, and good with children but please note that H4P never recommends the adoption of any new dog into a family that has small children.
Davos desperately needs to, finally, be part of someone’s family, to experience that consistent love, affection and attention that he has missed in his life so far. If you would be willing to expand his meagre existence by inviting him into your life and providing him with a permanent, secure home, he would give all the above, plus more in return!
