Hope4Paws UK & Spanish Rescue is a volunteer-powered, non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals, and finding them loving, forever homes. Our mission is to give every dog a second chance at life, providing them with care, rehabilitation, and the opportunity to thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.
Founded by Michelle Jones and supported by a small but committed team of volunteers, we operate through collaboration with dedicated rescuers, boarding kennels, and partner organizations across the UK, Spain, and other EU countries. These partnerships allow us to reach dogs in urgent need, often those at risk of euthanasia, and provide them with the care and attention they deserve.
Our approach is thorough and compassionate. We follow a fair but rigorous adoption process, including detailed home checks for all individuals applying to foster or adopt. This ensures that each dog is matched with the most suitable home, taking into account their personality, health, and emotional needs. Our goal is to prevent further trauma for the dogs in our care, who may already have endured hardship, neglect, or abandonment. If we feel that a dog you have chosen may not be the right fit, we take the time to find a dog that will truly thrive with you.
At Hope4Paws, our work is guided by the three Rs: Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome. We rescue dogs from dangerous or life-threatening situations, rehabilitate them through medical care, socialization, and emotional support, and carefully rehome them with loving families. This includes supporting dogs with disabilities, medical conditions, or behavioural challenges, because every dog deserves a chance to be happy and loved.
Beyond individual rescues, we are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and raising awareness about the plight of abandoned and neglected animals. Through education, community engagement, and outreach, we strive to create a more compassionate world for animals in need.

Our dream extends beyond individual rescues. We aspire to establish our own dedicated boarding and rescue facility—a place where we can provide comprehensive care for dogs in need. At this facility, dogs would receive the medical attention, rehabilitation, and socialization they require to thrive, all while waiting for their forever homes. It would also be a place where people could come to visit, learn about our work, and see firsthand the lives they are helping to transform.
Through this vision, we aim not only to save lives but also to create a compassionate, supportive community that values animal welfare. By providing safe spaces, rehabilitation, and education, we hope to inspire more responsible pet ownership and a deeper understanding of the needs and rights of animals.
