Zeus once lived in a family home. He was settled, loved routine, and trusted his people completely. One day, like so many times before, his family took him out in the car for what he thought was his normal walk . His tail wagged with excitement as he jumped in, full of trust. But this time was different. They drove far from home, took a route Zeus didn’t know, and left him at a pound where dogs are euthanised. They left him there with his belongings — his little stuffies — and never looked back. Zeus waited. He cuddled his toys. He watched the cage door, believing his family would return.
After a year, Zeus finally gave up hope. He stopped watching the door. He stopped believing they were coming back . Now Zeus sits in a cage, a gentle, loving soul who did nothing wrong.
